Could be you!
2025
It’s time to find our 2025 artist! Are you an artist and want to join the amazing artists above and be a part of this beloved community music event? If so, we want to hear from you!
We are accepting artwork concepts and designs NOW THROUGH TUESDAY, APRIL 1st for a friendly community artist pool of submissions to be voted on by the San Rafael PorchFest Committee. The winning artist will then create the poster for the event, delivered in layered, vector format digital files that the SRPF Graphics Team can then use elements therein such as color palette and fonts to create the rest of the marketing materials for print and social media.
Perks
This, like all SRPF positions, is a volunteer position. You will get In-Kind sponsorship perks such as promotions on social media, your business name on banners at the event and your name on the artwork itself. Please feel free to sign it of course! You will also get representation at the festival with a space to “Meet the Artist” where you get exclusive exposure to the attendees and musicians playing the event.
Timeline
Tuesday 4/1/25
Get your creativity on and create a poster for the event. Submit to SRPF Committee for review.
Call for artists closes.
Friday 4/18/25

Submit final vector files to Committee.
Friday 5/2
until event
Enjoy seeing your artwork on posters all over town, on our website, social media outlets and on our merch!
Sunday 9/21/25
Enjoy the event including your "Meet the Artist" time at San Rafael PorchFest with exposure to thousands of attendees and musicians!
Deliverables
Merch Poster: 12x15 artwork with 3” at bottom for list of bands (poster will be 12x18)
Marketing Poster: 10x10 ish, artwork shrinks to fit 11x17 paper and gets “shorter” to accommodate 5” for sponsors on the bottom
Artwork should be in vector format using layers so it can be easily changed especially for t-shirt printing. Depending on the design the color palette may be simplified for various elements such as t-shirts. We usually only have 4-6 colors on one side of the t-shirt and 1-2 colors on the other. This should not limit your design though! Our graphics team can simplify for that piece alone. We usually consult with the artist on big changes like this to get them approved.

“A free community music event in the Gerstle Park Neighborhood.”
-
Brought to you by the GPNA or the Gerstle Park Neighborhood Association
The vibe to capture: SRPF is a free community music event held in the Gerstle Park Neighborhood. Gerstle Park has a wide range of neighbor interests, ages, cultures and architecture. Think fall foliage, low picket fences, gardens, neighbors walking dogs, families at the park and on porches, and a peaceful community vibe. Musicians play on porches and in driveways, drawing crowds ranging from intimate and mellow to high energy dance parties.
We look forward to hearing from you if this sounds like something you want to be a part of! We’ve included a prior year designs above for your reference. Questions? Email sanrafaelporchfest@gmail.com for more info. Thank you for your support of this beloved community music event!
